Review of The Pelican Brief (1993) by Anand P — 19 Oct 2008
Edge of the seat thriller. Not really a legal thriller unlike some other Grisham movies like "Firm", this is actually a political thriller with the facade of court house. Memorable line - when the interviewer questions Denzel Washington's character at the end regarding the actual existence of the character played by Julia Roberts, "she seems almost too good to be true" and he replies, "Yes, she almost is".
The movie is worth watching just for that one scene!
