Review of The Pelican Brief (1993) by Panos M — 10 Dec 2014
I was absolutely amazed that this movie got as many bad reviews from members as it did. I thought Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts were superb in this fast-paced thriller about the murder of two Supreme Court Justices.
As I remember it, this followed the novel closely, but was still enjoyable even if you knew the ending. This has it all (except for romance), from locations in Washington and New Orleans during Mardi Gras, to Watergate-style cover-ups, to a trail of dead bodies.
Julia is on the run and can trust no one! Except Gray Grantham.
