Probably the best animated movie I've seen in years. I love the effect of having high resolution, high frame rate background elements, while using hand drawn elements and limiting the framerate of the characters. It created a very unique look and made the movie feel familiar.
The story was well written, and dealt with more mature themes than animated movies typically deal with. The jokes were smart and intellectually stimulating for the adults, while at the same time being visually stimulating for the kids.
The sense of humanity and humor in the movie was surprising. I just wish there were more fart jokes.
