Review of The Peanuts Movie (2015) by Hrant B — 03 Sep 2016
An extremely rare type of children's film that lacks the silly irreverent spirit of selfishness that seems to constitute the majority of kid themed movies. Instead, children are given a main character who does the right thing, even when it's hard, and is victorious just for being a good person who loves his friends and cares about his family.
Although some of its classic off beat Schulz humor may fly right over some younger ones' heads, this movie is as satisfying for adults if not more so. Peanuts perfection.
