Review of The Peanuts Movie (2015) by Ashley H — 04 Jul 2016

While I don't consider myself a fan of the Peanuts comic strips, I am familiar with enough of it to recognise most of the characteristics have been fatefully translated over to the big screen. The animation blends both the old and new, where the characters are in 3D yet seem hand drawn at the same time.

The story is also almost as simple and direct as the comic strip, following the challenges of Charlie Brown's life, parts of which I can almost relate to myself. I believe author Charles Schultz would have approved of this.
