Review of The Peacemaker (1997) by Settimio P — 02 Sep 2008

I enjoyed watching this film although it could be considered rather eerie in hindsight. I got it, meaning the story was told clearly, the terrorists had a human motivation, although there was just a hint of the usual cold war politics (Americans are good, Russian are bad).

Nonetheless after a slow start the pace increased and the excitement did likewise. The screen coupling seemed unusual but worked, actually the roles appeared to suit the actors. Kidman looked a far cry from the peroxide botox bat she is these days.
