Clooney is fun to watch, and Kidman does pretty good work despite the fact that her character is more or less written out of the movie about halfway through. The action rivals that of some Bruckheimer films at times, but the film has no real story beyond its basic plot of "man wants to blow up bomb, George Clooney wants to stop him.
" For a movie with a similar plot that goes deep into the characters. This is Clooney's attempt at playing Jack Ryan, and while he is very charismatic, the film doesn't have much more to provide.
