Review of The Peacemaker (1997) by Stephen S — 19 Aug 2011
Pretty cool. Normally, I really hate George Clooney in anything, and I'm not partial to Nicole Kidman either, but they're both pretty good in this. One thing that gets The Peacemaker points in my opinion is the main antagonist.
The guy plans to nuke major cities, but by the film's end, you actually find yourself sympathizing with him for what he's been through. Feeling this kind of empathy for a villain is often quite rare, though it's frequently attempted.
Aside from this, all I can say is, The Peacemaker is probably worth your time...there's not much else noteworthy about it, but there's not much wrong with it, either.
