Like braveheart this is an overly sentimental film made not for people with weak stomachs but the patriot is the greatest war film since saving private Ryan.its got great human drama, stunning battle scenes and set peices, its well acted from everyone's part even the children and truely shows this mans struggle.
simply one of if not the greatest war film of all time.
