Review of The Pathological Optimist (2017) by Jeannette B — 15 Apr 2018
I've viewed the film a couple of times. Worth watching if you want a clearer perspective on a topic that corporate media brushes off with a "nothing to see here...'discredited' because we use that word" almost monthly.
I've believe those new to the topic will find the portrayal compelling, not thoroughly informing, but definitely question raising. I've been following the MMR/Andrew Wakefield controversy for some time before the film, but I did learn a little and gain further insight into some events.
Gutsy production that honestly attempts to let you see what is going on with this controversy on the ground.
