I give this movie 5 stars because I'm catholic and this is the basis of our beliefs but to be fair I also give it five stars because the direction of this movie is superior during certain flashback sequins it corresponds with what is happening the movie for example when the cross is being raised it flashes back to the last supper and Jesus raising the bread as his body (which is done at mass) no other movie has ever conveyed such emotion for me.
The score is excellent and convoys the approximate emotion, which is hardly seen in today's cinema.
