OK first of all will you morons stop calling this movie "historically accurate". The Bible is a book of stories written by individuals who were not even there to witness the events that are spoken about, and further more the bible as a book of stories (and that's all it is.

..stories) has had more revisions than any book in history. that being said if you like torture and gore then watch this film..The message of the life and mission of Jesus is completely missed in this movie, though I'm fairly sure Mel Gibson knows that and isn't what he was going for in the first place.
