Review of The Party (1968) by Michael T — 16 Feb 2009
The first 2/3rds of the film is brilliant, but it really falls away at the end. I saw Seller say in an interview that they didn't have a finished script and just made up the ending as they went along.
And even Sellers acknowledged that it didn't work. Nevertheless, the first half of the film has hilarious moments which make the film worth seeing and revisiting from time to time.
