Review of The Party (1968) by John E — 08 Apr 2009
A work of genius when it comes to subtle humor (apart from the rather boisterous ending that is). A good send-up of Hollywood bigshots, and a mostly plotless movie that does its work by entertaining with many interesting and humorous situations.
Peter Sellers shines here as does the delightfully hammered butler.
