Review of The Parent Trap (1998) by Regie C — 11 Dec 2018
ï¿ 1/2The Parent Trapï¿ 1/2Â? is one of the most spectacular movies ever!
I have watched this movie a hundred times and I laugh every time. It is packed full of pranks and two funny teens.
In this story a set of twins, Hallie Parker and Annie James (both Lindsay Lohan), were separated at birth. During a summer camp 12 years later they meet again. They don't like each other at first and a prank show off starts. In a matter of days both girls get sent to a special cabin, the Isolation cabin that they have to share for the rest of camp. It is in that very cabin that they make an important discovery; they are twins! They find this out in two easy steps that you will have to see to believe. For the rest of the movie the girls switch lives and try to stop their dadï¿ 1/2(TM)s, Nick Parker (Dennis Quaid) and his cruel fiance, Meredith Blake`s (Elaine Hendriy), wedding from happening, and maybe to hook their parents back up!
One thing I like was how Lindsay Lohan really separates the girlsï¿ 1/2(TM) personalities and actions from one another. It looks and feels like two different people when it is really just one very talented actress.I also really liked when the girls pranked one another before being sent to their new cabin. My favorite prank is the finale of all pranks and the funniest. You will have to see this part in the movie to believe what Hallie did! I think the lesson is don't let precious things get away.
If you like pranks and a little romance this one of a kind movie is for you, it might help if you are a teen or older. If you are not into love and or pranks you won't like this movie. It is rated PG but, all kids should watch this movie for the laughs. This is a spectacular film. I give it a A+, 5 of 5, and ***** of *****.
