Someone told me this was better than The Conversation. Not so. But it's pretty damn good. Plus, it's the grim, hyperreal-directin',off-kilter-tableau-obsessin' Alan Pakula that made me watch All the President's Men way more than a human should.
All that and some Gordon Willis darkness makes for a spicy meatball.
