Review of The Parallax View (1974) by J K — 24 Nov 2009
'Parallax View' is sadly an above average thriller. The most fascinating thing about the movie is the "security organization" and it barely scratches the surface. But Pakula's talent for building paranoia and tension saves it.
Also Gordon Willis' cinematography is wonderful, playing with foreground, shooting through windows and curtains along with some odd angles.
