Review of The Parallax View (1974) by Jake A — 07 Oct 2010
Wholly without nuance or any compelling payoff, not even Warren Beatty's wholesale performance, clean 1970s nostalgia, nor Alan Pakula's semi-stylish craft can save it. Also, there is not nearly enough Seattle and the whole political conspiracy angle just makes it come off as a cut rate Manchurian Candidate rip off.
