For what is an interesting plot/scenario, overall it doesn't expand much on the overall mystery it tries to solve, instead attempting to capture how odd life in the deep south is, which it accomplishes, but not to the point that it's entertaining or subtle.
The performances are good, but most of it is laughably bad.
