Starts out quite good, then slows down, then Lee Daniels compensates the dragging plot half way through with brutally violent and sexual scenes where Nicole Kidman and Jon Cusack bring their best, but it's still not enough - the movie fails to deliver and the ending leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth and lots of questions.
