Underneath the sleaze & poor editing, there's a quality movie in here. The performances for the most part are really solid, the locations are beautiful and lush, and the story is sometimes brilliant.

But surprisingly Cusack is lacking in this, and the story meanders and gets hung up in too many parts. Kidman, McConaughey & Efron are really cohesive and fun to watch when it works. I would love to see this movie recut in a better fashion & lose Macy Gray as the narrator.
