Maybe director Daniels should have stuck to the writing this time, because the story is pretty good, a thriller-noir set in the Florida swamps, with crocodiles and all the genre elements. Unfortunately the directing and the editing are quite bad, with some absolutely wrong cuts.
.. It's a shame because the cast is good, especially McConaughey, Kidman and Cusack. Infact Nicole Kidman is really great in this role and it was a very long time since her last good performance!
