Review of The Palm Beach Story (1942) by Michael B — 24 Sep 2007
This is the peak of what were referred to as 'screwball comedies' by a director (Preston Sturges) who directed a lot of them... The plot involves a couple's separation and reuniting, but a host of supporting characters steal the movie, including the Wienie King, John D.
Hackensacker III and Toto. A great mix of physical and verbal comedy.
