Review of The Pajama Game (1957) by Clayton W — 27 Apr 2010
I rarely rarely ever love musicals, it's just not a film type I enjoy. So if you do like musicals, I am sure you would like this a lot more than I. One disappointment is Doris Day's wonderful voice hardly being used to it's best ability.
A lot of her songs are more talk singing than actual singing. What a waste. Very colorful, overly so. The score is decent. Good plot. the supporting cast is very good and of couse Doris Day is wonderful to see.
