Review of The Painted Veil (2006) by Amanda B — 13 Dec 2008
Beautifully shot, a film brave enough to take its time to develop characters and involve the audience in their affairs (literally). Norton underplays perfectly and although Naomi Watts is maybe a little too beautiful (camera adores her) she proves she can act here.
Cried like a baby at the end. Great cast.
