Review of The Painted Veil (2006) by Barbara D — 21 Jan 2009
I haven't read the book, but the film was brilliant. The scenery was amazing and you can almost feel the humid heat in the mountains.
Naomi Watts shone on screen and Edward Norton once again proved that he can play different types of characters. Luckily, this movie got its casting right. If it were done incorrectlyl, I would've liked the film a lot less and given it a worse review.
