Review of The Painted Veil (2006) by Sloopy C — 20 Jun 2010
A complex drama that once unfolds is beautiful and sad at the same time. Edward Norton is very good as is Naomi Watts. Such a bittersweet story but one that is all too reflective of the joys and tragedies of real life.
Update: So moving & compelling. People sometimes never even realize there is a 'veil' over the person they love instead they look for qualities that had never existed in the first place. This is one of the causes of true heartbreak.
