Beautiful. I seriously preferred it to the novel. The Painted Veil is like no story I've seen before, and everything was done perfectly. The music, the setting, the cinematography, the story, the costumes, the casting, the acting, the directing, the dialogue.
.. Everything was magic and cohesive, it was all so well made.
