Review of The Pagemaster (1994) by Shaughn S — 19 Apr 2013

Movie is about a boy named Richard Tyler, your typical kid who is afraid of almost everything. During a freak storm he is riding his bike and to shelter himself he runs into a library. While inside the library he slips and wakes up in an animated world filled with books.

While in this world he meets 3 books, Action, Fantasy, and Horror and together they head out for adventure. Visiting different worlds from classic stories Richard makes friends and learns to overcome his fears.

Part live action and part animation, this film film was never really a big hit among people, it's very cheesy but as a kid, I liked those movies. Certainly a rainy day kinda flick and not one to be taken heavily.

I give it a 5.5/10 If you got kids are just want to reminisce a movie from your childhood watch it and just remember, it's VERY CHEESY!
