I know a lot of people hated this film, but I was not one of them. The plot is fast paced and the main character is pretty likeable, as are the talking books. The purpose of getting kids to read classics is good natured too.
You'll be rooting for him all the way through to the end. The plot was interesting too. E\It's embarressing to watch, with the cheese and all, but get past that and you'll find a pretty good movie.
This is one of the few reviews Nostalgic Critic got wrong.
