Review of The Page Turner (2006) by Tom S — 08 May 2009
A young girl is distracted by a panel judge while auditioning for an elite music school. Years later she gets her revenge. It's the sort of material that could go wrong in a number of ways, but it works due to subtlety and the performance of Deborah Francois as the perpetrator.
I like how French films don't insist on yelling every plot point and let you make up your own mind about things at times.
