Review of The Pact (2012) by Brett H — 01 Jan 2013
A modest indie horror flick definitely worth seeking out. It treads on familiar ground but the restraint the director shows to get real scares from the audience is very well done. There are enough bones thrown your way to piece it all together for the small twist ending.
A solid turn by the unknown female lead and the welcomed casting of Casper Van Dien of Starship Troopers fame is enough for me to recommend not just to horror buffs but movie fans alike.
