Review of The Pact (2012) by Dov D — 25 Jul 2013
I can see why the critics like this film - it's different and, unfortunately, dull. The reason I like horror is because I like either to be scared, to laugh or to think. This film made me do all of these things - finding my cat's grooming habits more interesting than the television screen.
The first scene is filled with suspense, the rest with nothing - and an ending that although is twistful (as these things should be) I found myself unable to care about.
