Review of The Package (2013) by Ron D — 16 Feb 2013
The Package directed by Jesse V. Johnson from the screenplay by Derek Kolstad. Starring Steve Austin, Dolph Lundgren and Darren Shahlavi (Ip Man II).
Steve a club bouncer/veteran, lives with his loving wife and a young brother who is serving his sentence in prison - Steve is asked by his boss to deliver a package to its destination and in return his brother's debts would be taken care of; unbeknownst to him (Steve) what the package carries, on the way he encounter bunch of freaks and The German (Dolph Lundgren) who has spread the word to capture Steve without hurting or killing him.
Steve Austin is terrific in this non-stop thriller, that just keeps penetrating into its vast story. Austin's acting is good, you must not t be expecting so-so performance from him, here. Excellent story, and pure touch of mystery at the end.
The Package is worth a try!
