Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Sadie K — 01 Jul 2010
An aweful, aweful movie. Somehow manages to be as incomprehensible as its mathmatical themes, yet at the same time thoroughly predictable.
Elijah Wood phones in his usual yank in Britain role. John Hurt and the striking Leonor Watling's dubious history provides the movie's only hint of interest, but to describe this as a redeeming feature would be unnecessarily generous.
I can't even be bothered to make a hobbit joke. That's how bad this is.
