Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Jamie W — 06 Jul 2010
Having read the British reviews on this one, I have come to the conclusion that they are spoiled by regularly get to see small movies, with reasonable dialogue, and acting that is somewhere in the realm of believable.
As an American usually subjected to things that go bang, constantly repeated swear words, and wooden acting, I found this movie thoroughly enjoyable with enough twists to keep you guessing about the culprit(s) and motivation to the end.
It is certainly worth catching on pay per view or the pay channels to avoid commercials.
