Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Craig M — 24 Nov 2010
A gratuitous, slow, and mildly-steamy romantic murder mystery caper that manages to redeem itself in the last 5 minutes with a twist you probably won't see coming. Solid performances from established stars only partially make up for the caricatures and out-of-place romance, but the twist ending does make up for the lack of depth.
Don't be fooled by the description, however - no math degree is required, and this is ultimately a plot for a novice.
