Review of The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) by Bob V — 06 Mar 2010
One of the few truly great westerns. The western when done rightly is the perfect vehicle for morality plays and the "Ox-Bow Incident" is the king of morality plays. Certainly interpreting the later Communist Witch Hunts and the contemporary Nazis in light of the story is none too far-fetched.
