Review of The Overnight (2015) by John K — 02 Jul 2015
Vastly underrated, this indie comedy is one of the more insightful films about relationships, despite veering into ridiculous territory. As it reaches further down the rabbit hole of insanity, layers are peeled back from characters and motives are revealed that are not only funny, but absolutely shocking.
There's a fair amount of risque material here and, at times, the goal is to make you uncomfortable, but this is an incredibly interesting viewing.
