With a perfect cast, hilarious awkward tension, and the kind of "what would you do" scenario that will leave audiences talking, #theovernight is able to overcome its "shock value", which can be a little overwhelming at times, to actually make some poignant statements about desire, temptation, and the nature of human relationships.
