Let me set the scene for you. You're one quarter of a romantic comedy, with you and your partner joining up with another couple for a night on the town. The usual hijinks ensue and you end up at a movie theatre watching a comedy, having a few laughs, and then discover Tyler Durden is your projectionist.

You were not expecting that. NO-ONE expects that. Nor a lot of the other stuff that follows after seeing that. Still, once you get over the shock of that, you realize that you had a really good time with that couple, and while perhaps you wouldn't want quite that experience again, especially since you both have kids, you can still hang out and be normal friends just like everyone else.

So, all in all, a good time was had by all, even if it wasn't quite what you were expecting.
