It doesn't follow the book as well as you would like it to be, & at times it's a bit corny, but The Outsiders isn't half bad, for what it is. I mean you have an all star cast, & a pretty popular book to go with, but at times it fails to entertain you with it's great greaser & old timer cliches throughout the movie.
