Review of The Outsiders (1983) by Adam F — 10 Dec 2012
The original cut of "The Outsiders" is a well acted, well shot drama that satisfies. C. Thomas Howell and Ralph Macchio are the stand out performances, but everyone is convincing and as the film follows the characters, introducing us to their day-to-day lives and their plight you'll really get emotionally invested.
It's a well made film that, along with telling a good story comments on poverty and the pointless violence that affects youth and satisfies emotionally. (Dvd, December 6, 2012).
