Enjoyable adaptation of Hinton's classic tale of 'greasers' vs 'soshs' with a veritable who's-who of next-gen stars featured in the ensemble cast. Stagey in parts but overall well done.
Makes one wonder what happened to C. Thomas Howell's career, as he takes the lead here over Cruise, Macchio, and Estevez. A tense tale from a simpler time with lessons that apply to any era.
