With material like this, I could tell that it was based on someone else's material. The Outsiders may be aimed more towards the teens (I watched this in school), but that doesn't prevent the young cast from actually act in some spots.
The script is alright, but you do have your typical direction from Coppola and I think Dillon did an alright job.
