This film is based on the classic novel of the same name. I watched The Complete Novel version which is a little more faithful to the book than the original theatrical version. This film is packed with stars who made their mark in the 80's, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, Emilio Estevez, C Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, and Leif Garrett.
This is an emotional movie following the battle between the rival groups, the Greasers and the Socs. Still pretty solid after all these years.
