Yet another movie of "white man saves the day". The Yakuza have been known for years not only for their ruthlessness and violence but also for being closed to foreigners, however Jared Leto gets immediately accepted into the family meetings, gets away with sleeping with the sister of one of them (and with getting her pregnant!) and ends up getting revenge from another Yakuza family and restoring his (?) family's honour.

All of this right after the war! Completely incoherent with historical context, that Yakuza family wouldn't have survived five minutes in the real world. Coincidentally, if instead of a white man the main actor had been Japanese it would have been a quite solid story.
