Review of The Outside Chance of Maximilian Glick (1988) by Darin W — 25 Feb 2006
I've had this on my shelf for probably ten years or more. I have reached for it probably twice, no more than three times. It is the type of movie you really want to love because the story line is noble and clean. Truly, there is nothing bad about the movie, but it doesn't compel you to grab it often.
If you are looking for theatrics, action, or side-splitting comedy, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a good, clean, humorous comedy you can watch with the whole family, this is it. It is a coming of age comedy surrounding a young Jewish kid from Canada.
