The acting and characters are very watchable. Loved Chief Dan George. Reminded me of the trends that formed later, with the hero that is never mortally shot, while everyone around him dies. However, this film is much too long for what it is.
You could easily cut at least 20-30 minutes out without affecting anything. Sandra Locke seemed miscast or out of place, hair always perfect even though this is a the 1800s.
