One of my all-time favorite Clint Eastwood movies. Beautifully illustrates some of the re-created conditions that Civil War soldiers must have endured and the savagery with which the last Confederate soldiers were hunted down and slaughtered.
The interactions with the Indians is first-rate, especially the scene where Josey Wales and Ten Bears become blood brothers. An outstanding and epic western through and through. :fresh: :up: :up:
